Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan slams Nitesh Rane for ‘mini-Pakistan’ statement, BJP leader opposes too, ‘but…’
Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan condemned BJP minister Nitesh Rane’s commentary labeling Kerala as ‘Mini Pakistan,’ calling it provocative and deplorable. On Monday, Kerala leader minister Pinarayi Vijayan reacted sharply to the latest comments of BJP leader and Maharashtra minister Nitesh Rane, who noted Kerala as “Mini Pakistan” on Monday. Pinarayi Vijayan, known as Nitesh Rane’s commentary, which sparked a first-rate political row, was “deeply provocative and deplorable,” adding that it highlighted the technique of the “Sangh Parivar” toward the state. Reacting to Pinarayi Vijayan’s publication, Rajeev Chandrasekhar of the Bharatiya Janata Party stated he, too, “oppose any attempt using anybody to tarnish the call and picture of my kingdom, Kerala,” but centered the Kerala leader minister’s lawlessness inside the southern state.
Vijayan accused the Sangh Parivar of attempting to marginalize and isolate areas in which they face challenges in gaining effect, the use of hate campaigns, and divisive narratives as a device.
“The declaration via Maharashtra BJP Minister Nitesh Rane, labeling Kerala as ‘Mini Pakistan,’ is deeply provocative and deplorable. It reflects the fundamental approach of the Sangh Parivar, which is closer to Kerala. The Sangh Parivar believes they can marginalize and isolate regions where the war establishes an impact through hate campaigns and divisive narratives. Rane’s declaration is a direct instance of this approach,” Vijayan wrote on X. The Kerala CM also looked at the Centre for now, not addressing the minister’s comments and labeling them a violation of constitutional values and the minister’s oath of the workplace. He similarly mentioned that the kind of minister who gave such feedback was no longer worthy of keeping a ministerial office.
“A minister who makes such hate-stuffed feedback is not worthy of preserving office. The former Union minister alleged that under Pinarayi Vijayan’s leadership, lawlessness, and illegal activity have touched new shameful lows.

What did Nitesh Rane say?
Nitesh Rane has sparked a prime controversy by calling Kerala a “mini Pakistan” and mentioning “all terrorists vote for Gandhis,” a connection with Congress chief Rahul Gandhi and his sister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, the Lok Sabha MP from Wayanad.
Speaking at a rally in Purandar tehsil of Pune district on Sunday, the BJP minister said, “Kerala is mini Pakistan. Terrorists (earlier) voted for Rahul Gandhi and now for his sister Priyanka Gandhi.”
Facing sharp criticism from opposition events for his feedback, Nitesh Rane on Monday maintained Kerala is very much a part of India, and he turned into merely elevating issues of religious conversion of Hindus and “love jihad” in the southern kingdom.

The BJP, which claims to prioritize the kingdom over everything else, needs to offer a clear rationalization.”
Londhe claimed Nitesh Rane’s feedback had harmed Maharashtra’s recognition. He referred to newly released data displaying BJP-dominated Maharashtra’s man or woman spending stages akin to those of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. He wondered Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the figures. In assessment, non-BJP-ruled states like Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh (wherein the saffron birthday celebration is an ally of ruling TDP), and Telangana are leading considerably in phrases of character spending, he emphasized.
