Govt agreed to memorial for Manmohan Singh; Congress is now gambling on politics: BJP
Congress consists of a political drama that the BJP understands well. This is a complete contradiction since the UPA under Singh’s leadership aimed to encourage all by stating that only an All-India smriti would be built: a common memorial site for future prime ministers. For example, it is now possible to construct a mausoleum with the names of former Parliament members. According to the Ahmedabad Dr. M. Kartry Sigh’s statement to the BJP on the day of Singh’s funeral, Dec 28, 2024, it was unfair for Singh to have had any disagreements with the other parties of the country during his terms. Nonetheless, such discrepancies never resolved to require the intervention of Congress, which, according to his dramatic imagination, chooses to come up with them in the name of dealing with day-to-day politics.
