HMPV virus cases: Health ministry confirms two Karnataka babies examined superb

Two toddlers in Karnataka were identified with human metapneumovirus, each linked to bronchopneumonia. The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) on Monday showed that instances of human metapneumovirus (HMPV) cases have been detected in Karnataka, reports ANI. On Monday, the Union fitness ministry said these instances were identified through the ICMR’s ordinary surveillance for diverse breathing viruses, which aligned with their ongoing efforts to display respiratory illnesses nationwide.
