Elon Musks Starlink being used in Manipur? SpaceX founder answers

Security forces these days seized some internet gadgets at the side of hands and ammunition throughout a raid in the Imphal East district of Manipur.SpaceX founder Elon Musk answered claims that Starlink satellite TV for PC internet was being used in violence-torn Manipur on Tuesday. In reply to a query by someone on X, Musk said that Starlink satellite beams were turned off in India. Recently, security forces seized some net devices along with palms and ammunition for the duration of a raid in Keirao Khunou in the Imphal East district, in step with news agency PTI.

According to the state police, among the gadgets seized from Keirao Khunou were “one net satellite antenna, one net satellite router, and 20 meters (approx.) of FTP cables.” The Spear Corps of the Indian Army also shared photos of the gadgets seized on X. Several social media users stated that one of the gadgets had a “Starlink brand” on it.

Responding to the publication, an X consumer had written: “Terrorists are utilizing Starlink. Hope Elon Musk looks into it and assists in controlling misuse of this technology.”The SpaceX founder responded, saying, “This is false. Manipur has been witnessing sporadic violence ever since ethnic clashes broke out on May 3, 2023.
